In early childhood education, an Approved Provider is the person responsible for the overall operation of a service. This includes ensuring centres meet regulatory requirements, maintaining quality standards, supporting child safety, and providing the resources and support needed for children, families, and educators to succeed.
At Children's Village, our Approved Provider is Sook Kyoung Kim.
With more than 40 years of experience in early childhood education and care, Sook Kyoung has been involved in the sector for much of her professional life and has spent years building and supporting early learning communities across Sydney.
About Sook Kyoung
| After graduating with a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education in Seoul, South Korea, Sook Kyoung moved to Australia in 1989 to further her studies and completed a Master of Education in 1995. She then built her career in early childhood education in Australia, including more than 10 years with KU Children's Services, where she gained valuable experience supporting children's learning and development. In 2008, Sook Kyoung opened the first Children's Village centre in Toongabbie with a vision of creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Since then, Children's Village has expanded to multiple centres across Sydney, each committed to providing high-quality education and care. |  |
